Will Desmond and Hannah Hayward co-led the Proclaim '15 workshop session titled: How to evangelise the young people of your parish.

Will Desmond

Will leads the youth ministry of Sion Catholic Community for Evangelism.

He has been involved with youth ministry for eight years, four of which were spent on the road doing secondary school missions.

He has recently launched a three-year discipleship process for 15 - 18 year olds called the Ascent and is in his penultimate year of studying an Ecclesiastical bachelor in Divinity.

Will has a real passion for raising up young leaders and seeing the Church activated in mission.

Hannah Hayward

Hannah works as the Diocesan Youth Officer for Leeds diocese, and has been serving in youth ministry for over 15 years, including five years as a parish youth minster at Blessed John Henry Newman Parish in East Leeds.

Her passions include reading next to an open fire, playing the guitar, going for long walks in the countryside and introducing young people to “true life” through a relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.

She spent nine months in Rome at the Emmanuel School of Mission and returned with a ‘fire’ for evangelisation, and a strong desire for all Catholics to discover the missionary character of their faith.
