Our journey of faith through Christ's passion, death and resurrection has led us to the Risen Lord and the season of Easter. This podcast series - 'Lent and Easter at the Movies' - takes us to the cinema as Fr Robert King, our guest contributor for Eastertide, relates a series of thought-provoking movies to the day's Gospel reading.
One MP3 review is released for the Sundays of Easter and other key dates of the season.
True Romance (1993)
"Clarence is left broken and he has a choice. In making his choice, he comes to realise what is most important to him - his love for his wife. That's where we're left at the end of the film. Love has taken him from a lonely, sad fantasist to a man who has discovered his reality and realises he had it already."
