14/02/2018 11:35 am

As we travel on a journey of faith through Christ's passion, death and resurrection, this podcast series - 'Lent and Easter at the Movies' - takes us to the cinema as Fr Peter Malone MSC relates a series of thought-provoking movies to the day's Gospel reading.

One audio review is released for the Sundays of Lent and Easter. We also have a podcast for each day of Holy Week and other key dates.

Fifth Sunday of Lent

The Burning Season (1994) TV

"I'd recommend The Burning Season as a film about social justice - the issues are still contemporary. It's a fine performance by Raul Julia and it very strongly illustrates the text of the Gospel for this Sunday and Lent."
