The Gospel for the Seventh Sunday of Easter sees us focus on the movie 'Calvary' from 2014 as Fr Peter Malone MSC relates it to the day's Gospel reading.

Seventh Sunday of Easter

Calvary (2014)

"The important thing about Jesus is that He suffers for us and our wrongdoings, so-to-speak, but in His suffering He shares whatever experience we have of suffering, pain and injustice. [In Calvary] the priest definitely is a Jesus figure - the lamb of sacrifice - but he's also the man that has to atone for the sins of others."
