Draft Voting Eligibility (Prisoners) Bill

The Draft Voting Eligibility (Prisoners) Bill is currently before Parliament and presents an opportunity to lift the unjust and outdated ban on prisoners taking part in our democratic process. Whilst those who have committed crimes may be rightly deprived of their liberty, they never cease to be citizens. We recognise that people in prison should be able to exercise their civic responsibility.

Information on the Draft Voting Eligibility (Prisoners) Bill can be found on the website.
